Bel Air, MD – The Harford County community came together on September 14th to celebrate Tar Heel Construction Group’s 10-year anniversary at a special event held at Independent Brewing Company. During the well-attended celebration, the Jarrettsville Recreation Council (JRC) was gifted with free remodeling work.
JRC emerged victorious after Joe Ayler, President of Tar Heel Construction Group, invited the community to nominate candidates deserving of a free roof. Following a thorough review of nominations, the recreation council was selected. But instead of a roof, Tar Heel will provide a remodel for their on-field multi-use building, which houses equipment storage and a press box. The Jarrettsville Recreation Council is a volunteer-run nonprofit that offers recreational activities for Jarrettsville and nearby communities. They collaborate with the Harford County Department of Parks and Recreation and rely on volunteers to manage programs, coach children, and serve on their board.
Ayler said, “We recognize the profound impact of youth sports on our community’s well-being. Tar Heel Construction Group is honored to contribute capital improvements to local facilities, fostering productive, family-oriented community interactions.”
Additionally, Tar Heel was acknowledged by the Maryland Department of Commerce for their decade-long contributions to the community.
“Tar Heel Construction Group has consistently prioritized customer satisfaction and service excellence,” noted Maryland Commerce Secretary Kevin Anderson, who created a congratulatory citation. “Their significant impact on the Harford County community is commendable, and we anticipate their continued success.
